Phad Thai "Pad-a-Thai-Eye-Party"

By kind permission of the British Ambassador, H.E. Mr David Fall, the second Phad Thai “Pad-a-Thai-Eye” Party will be held in the beautiful residence and gardens of the British Embassy. The evening will be a fund raising event in aid of the People Eye Care Foundation (P.E.C.F.). Guests will be able to enjoy delicious Phad Thai cooked in authentic street vendor style carts and mouth watering Mangoes and Sticky Rice. Soft drinks, wine and beer will be served with the meal.
The evening will be lively and colourful with Thai folk music, singing and dancing performed by blind musicians from the School for the Blind and their blind masseurs will wander around offering shoulder and neck massages to soothe away your worries and cares.
All profits from the event will be donated to the P.E.C.F. for the provision of cataract operations for poor people in rural areas of Thailand and a donation will also be made to the School for the Blind.
The first Phad Thai Party held last in October 2006 raised over 130,000 baht for the P.E.C.F. and it is hoped that the funds raised by this second party will exceed this amount.
